Náklady
Jedinou zápornou stránkou výletu na Galapágy jsou určitě náklady. Je třeba počítat s tím, že je to pekelně drahé.
Jeli jsme nejlevnější možnou cruise, tedy lodí s nejskromnějším vybavením. Bydleli jsme v levných hotelech. Na druhou stranu jsme se potápěli a nenechali si ujít žádný výlet, o který jsme stáli.
Celkové náklady na jednu osobu, do kterých počítáme úplně vše od odjezdu z domu až po návrat - tj. za dobu 2.11-22.11. byly asi 90.000,- Kč na jednoho. Je v tom veškerá doprava všude, poplatky jako ESTA, vstup na Galapágy, poplatek na letišti v Quitu,... a počítáme i víkend v Mnichově, kde jsme měli "čekací stanici na letadlo" (asi 250,- Euro za oba si tedy můžete odečíst), v ceně je i pobyt v Quitu, v nákladech je i naše útrata za jídlo, pití a suvenýry v "běžném množství".
- cruise lze sehnat na 4 noci asi od 850-900 dolarů na osobu na nejlevnější možné lodi, ale pozor my jsme jeli s Galapagos Vision, což sice bylo pro nás osobně super, ale už v den našeho vylodění měli problémy, protože jim odešli dva členové posádky - nedostali totiž 20 týdnů mzdu...později jsme slyšeli, že nemají moc dobrou pověst - nicméně náš výlet s nimi byl perfektní, co se týká programu. Jídlo taky super, ale kajuty opravdu mrtě mini - oba najednou jsme se tam nevešli, pokud jeden nebyl v posteli. To by nám vůbec nevadilo, nepříjemný byl spíš záchod, který se splachoval ručním pumpováním, u kterého z něj trochu prskalo (...). A do přírody si nezajdete ani na malou - to by Vás průvodce hnal....Trochu pohodlné lodi počítejte na 4-5 nocí asi od 1500 dolarů, pokud nechytnete last minute slevu (tu nám Eddie nabízel asi 8 týdnů před odjezdem na jednu luxusnější loď za 1300 dolarů na osobu na 5 nocí). Na druhou stranu pozor - na příliš velké lodi je i příliš mnoho lidí, kteří budou všude s Vámi. Na našem katamaránu nás bylo deset - což je perfektní. Pokud se chcete plavit 8 dní - počítejte od nejlevnější tak 1300 dolarů po drahé přes dva tisíce dolarů na osobu
-vstup do národního parku se platí přímo na letišti a stojí 100 dolarů.
- letenka Quito-Galapágy nás vyšla 480 dolarů zpáteční
-Mnichov-Quito zpáteční 21.000,- Kč.
-na letišti v Quitu od Vás vyberou ještě 10 dolarů, protože jedete na Galapágy - nepochopili jsme význam poplatku...
-ubytování od 25 dolarů, slušný pohodlý hotel asi od 50 dolarů
-jídlo od 6-15 dolarů v příjemné restauraci
- celodenní výlet počítejte od 100 dolarů, spíše více - bude se to blížit někdy až k 200 dolarů za celodenní aktivitu na osobu, hlavně pokud se pluje lodí. V ceně bývá jídlo a půjčení vybavení na šnorchl
-cena průvodce jako takového je 90 dolarů na den.
- taxikář Vás zaveze na přístupné turistické místo tak za 20-30 dolarů, v ceně bude, že počká, bude Vás lehce dozorovat a zaveze Vás zpět. Cena se týká i např. vodního taxi na Tintoreras, kde Vás zavezou na šnorchl
půjčení kajaku na hodinu pro dva 15 dolarů
- potápění na osobu a den mezi 150-200 dolary, v ceně dva ponory, včetně půjčení vybavení a fotek z ponoru od divemastera
-transfer mezi ostrovy (funguje, co jsme si všimli v Puerto Ayora mezi San Cristobal, Isabela a Santa Cruz) od 25 dolarů, někdy i 40-50 dolarů (nevíme podle čeho - takové byly vidět nabídky)
- mini výlet s průvodcem na část dne např. na lávové tunely a Tintoreras na Isabele vyjde tuším asi 30 dolarů na osobu
- půjčení šnorchlovacího vybavení 30 dolarů
